Qatar is using advanced engineering and cooling technologies to keep its cities functional in temperatures exceeding 50°C. From district cooling systems that pipe chilled water through networks of insulated pipes to buildings, to reflective materials and shaded public spaces, the country is deploying a range of solutions.
These systems reduce energy consumption compared to individual air conditioning units, helping to manage the demands of a rapidly growing urban population.
