Turkish prosecutors have ordered the exhumation of Kaşif Kozinoğlu, a former intelligence officer for the National Intelligence Organization (MİT), whose death in 2011 has been the subject of ongoing investigation.
The decision to exhume his remains was made as part of an inquiry into the circumstances surrounding his death, which had previously been ruled a heart attack. Kozinoğlu, who served in the MİT for decades, was known for his role in counterintelligence operations.
