Spain: We Are Looking at a Couple of Players

Celta Vigo sporting director Marco Garcés has confirmed the club's interest in Boca Juniors forward Exequiel Zeballos as they look to bolster their attack. "We are looking at a couple of players. For us and for the coach, it is necessary to bring in a player up front who gives us imbalance and skill in one-on-one situations, who helps us open up closed defenses, Garcés told Sportitalia.

"He is one of the players we are certainly looking at. I don't know how close it can be. However, Celta appears unwilling to pay €6 million for a player whose contract expires on December 31, less than five months away.

The club does not want the operation to drag on and, if no resolution is reached in the first days of this week, they will move on to other options they are also working on. At least one attacking reinforcement is needed to complete the squad, with possibly one more depending on departures.
