Turkish Workers Await Possible Staggered Retirement Law

Millions of Turkish workers are awaiting a possible new law on staggered retirement (kademeli emeklilik), which would allow early retirement for those not covered by the previous EYT (retirement age) regulation. Recent online searches for "2026 staggered retirement table" and "early retirement regulation" have surged. Although parliamentary questions have been submitted in the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM), no official bill has been enacted into law.
