Trump Signs New Orders Curbing Birthright Citizenship After Top Court Setback
U.S. President Donald Trump has signed two new executive orders targeting birthright citizenship, weeks after the Supreme Court rejected his broader attempt to restrict it.
The new measures focus on so-called "birth tourism" and other categories of foreign nationals, according to Al Jazeera's Noor Wazwaz. The orders come as the administration continues its push to limit automatic citizenship for children born in the United States to non-citizen parents.
