The Children, All Around 14, Had Entered the Sea to Cool Off When They Were Caught by the Waves

Two of three children swept away by waves in the sea off Hatay's Samandağ district were rescued by emergency teams, while 14-year-old M.A.H. remains missing. The incident occurred around 3 p.m. on the coast of Kapısuyu neighborhood in Samandağ, Hatay, Turkey. The children, all around 14, had entered the sea to cool off when they were caught by the waves.

Following reports from bystanders, health, fire brigade, and Coast Guard Command teams were dispatched to the area. Two of the children were rescued and taken to a hospital by ambulance.
