The Erdek Municipality enforcement teams conducted inspections at Çuğra and Kurbağalı beaches, where they found some individuals had chained their belongings together or fixed them with concrete. Materials that were not removed despite prior warnings were cut and collected from the shore. Those found to have occupied public space were fined under the relevant provisions of the Misdemeanor Law. The operation targeted the illegal occupation of the sandy beach in the area.
