Xpeng Opens World-first Automated Line for Humanoid Robots

The company said the new facility is designed to mass-produce its Iron humanoid robot, which stands 1.78 meters tall and weighs 70 kilograms. XPeng aims to produce over 1,000 units annually at the initial stage, with plans to expand capacity to 10,000 units per year in the future. The robots are intended for use in industrial settings, such as factories and warehouses, before expanding to home and commercial applications.
