Their First Meeting Took Place in 1968 in a Stable With Pigs and Chickens, Alongside the Band Nomadi

Vince Tempera, the Italian orchestra conductor known for over 40 Sanremo appearances and the theme of Ufo Robot, has shared memories of his nearly 60-year friendship with singer-songwriter Francesco Guccini. Their first meeting took place in 1968 in a stable with pigs and chickens, alongside the band Nomadi. Tempera recalled their last phone call, saying, We were loyal friends!
He also composed the horror theme for Sette note in nero, later used by Quentin Tarantino in Kill Bill. The two shared stages, taverns, and songs over the decades, from early gigs to a packed concert in Bologna's Piazza Maggiore. Siamo stati amici leali!
