In Adana, Turkey, a Drone- and Helicopter-backed Police Operation Across the Province Led to the Arrest of 62 Suspects Wanted for Various

The operation, coordinated by the Adana Provincial Police Department's Public Order Branch, involved 1,592 officers who conducted checks at busy streets and strategic points. Authorities screened 33,428 people through the General Information Collection (GBT) system, resulting in the detention of the 62 wanted individuals. During traffic checks, 9,052 vehicles were stopped, and 263 drivers were fined a total of 3,924,000 Turkish liras for violations, while 6 vehicles were impounded.

Two stolen motorcycles were also recovered. Inspections of public businesses led to legal action against 20 establishments for irregularities, and 21 people were fined 37,066 liras for begging and street vending at intersections. Searches of suspicious vehicles and individuals yielded 3 unlicensed pistols, 4 unlicensed shotguns, 2 blank-firing guns, 5 cutting tools, 47 cartridges, and 58 narcotic pills.
