Buenos Aires Restores Sarmiento-era Mansion As Cultural Center

A century-old red-brick mansion in Buenos Aires' Palermo neighborhood, commissioned by Domingo Faustino Sarmiento and later used as a landscape design school, has been restored and reopened as a cultural center. The building, which had fallen into disrepair, now hosts exhibitions, workshops, and community events, preserving its historical character while serving a new generation of visitors.
