Los Angeles Dodgers Legend Clayton Kershaw Took a Visit to the Los Angeles Rams' Training Camp on Wednesday

Kershaw brought his three children and posed for a photo with defending NFL Most Valuable Player, Matthew Stafford. Kershaw is in his first year of retirement after spending 18 seasons with the Dodgers. The three-time National League Cy Young Award winner retired after winning back-to-back World Series championships with the Dodgers in 2024 and 2025. Meanwhile, Stafford announced he was returning for another season during his acceptance speech for the NFL MVP Award in February.

Stafford was rumored to be considering retirement after last season, so the 2026 season could be the final year of his career. Kershaw and Stafford are childhood friends and were teammates on multiple sports teams in Dallas, Texas. The pair also attended Highland Park High School, and both graduated in 2006. Both Kershaw and Stafford were first-round picks in the MLB and NFL Drafts, respectively. Stafford started his NFL career with the Detroit Lions, while Kershaw played for the Dodgers.
