Demi Vollering (FDJ United-Suez) finished second, 15 seconds back, and Marlen Reusser (Movistar) was third, 39 seconds behind. Elisa Longo Borghini (UAE L'Imad) placed fourth at 2'59", and Antonia Niedermaier (Canyon-Sram) was fifth at 3'21". Pauline Ferrand-Prévot finished far behind the favorites.
