One Suspect Was Arrested in the Raid, Which Used an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle

Turkish authorities seized 253 kilograms of cannabis in Hakkari province during a drone-supported operation, the Interior Ministry announced. The operation, coordinated by the Gendarmerie General Command's Anti-Narcotics Department, the 7th Border Regiment Command, and the Yüksekova Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, was carried out by the Hakkari Provincial Gendarmerie Command's Anti-Narcotics Branch following intelligence work. One suspect was arrested in the raid, which used an unmanned aerial vehicle. Authorities said anti-drug operations continue uninterrupted.
