One person died and five others were injured when two cars collided in Kütahya province, western Turkey. The crash occurred at the Derecikköy Junction on the Tavşanlı-Emet highway in the Tavşanlı district. A car driven by A.U.B. (plate 16 ABK 691) collided with a vehicle driven by R.K. (plate 10 ALD 182).

Firefighters, gendarmerie, and emergency medical teams were dispatched to the scene. drivers A.U.B. and R.K., along with passengers H.Ç., M.Y., B.S.Y., and Ayşe Bozkurt, 54 — were taken to Tavşanlı Doç. Dr. Mustafa Kalemli State Hospital. Bozkurt died despite medical intervention; the others remain in treatment.
