Thai Boy Kills Grandparents, Shoots Five Teachers at School

The attack occurred near Bangkok, the capital. The boy first shot his grandparents, with whom he lived, in the morning. He then went to his school, where he used his grandfather's nine-millimeter pistol to shoot five teachers.

Police found at least 34 more rounds of ammunition on him. The boy later shot himself with the same weapon and died on the way to the hospital. In total, eight people died, including the grandparents, five teachers, and the attacker.

At least 30 people were injured and taken to hospitals, nine of them in critical condition. Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul described the attack as a prepared action with clear steps and clear targets.
