A 16-year-old from Como was arrested on charges of spreading jihadist propaganda online and possessing manuals for making improvised explosive devices. Investigators found on his computers videos of training sessions and prisoner executions, and said he was in contact with Islamic State members, exchanging messages with them. Hiding behind secure connections and nicknames, he openly professed support for ISIS on the internet, downloading and sharing the material. Investigators described his activity as an "advanced path" toward radicalization.
