Two male suspects dressed in women's clothing were caught on security camera stealing gold and foreign currency worth approximately 500,000 Turkish liras from a second-floor apartment in the Gümüşpınar neighborhood of Avcılar, Istanbul, on Thursday, August 27. The theft took about 20 minutes. Fatoş Yılmaz and her husband returned from work around 6 p.m. to find their door unlocked with no signs of forced entry.
