🇮🇷 Iran🇺🇸 United StatesUS Tested New Missile in Strike That Killed 168 Schoolgirls in Iran

The United States has come under renewed scrutiny over a February 28 missile strike on a girls' school in Minab, Iran, that killed 168 students, with reports indicating the attack was used to test a new weapon system. The U.S. military reportedly selected Minab, a city of 30,000 people, as a testing ground for the previously untried Lockheed Martin Precision Strike Missile (PrSM). Four of the missiles were used in the attack, which also killed 35 civilians. The U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) initially denied the strike, blaming an errant Iranian Hoveyzeh cruise missile, but announced the redeployment of the same missiles to the region just four days later.
