The Kütahya Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry announced the closure, which will remain in effect while susceptible animals in the protection and surveillance zone are vaccinated. The decision, implemented in line with a commission ruling by the Kütahya Governorate, aims to prevent the spread of the disease and bring it under control. The disease was detected in the central Kınık village, prompting the precautionary measures.
Officials urged producers and citizens to strictly comply with the measures. The announcement also referenced a related report on neighboring provinces of Eskişehir, where new restrictions have been imposed.
