Hungary's Counter-terrorism Centre Raided a Property in Lajosmizse, Bács-kiskun County, on Saturday, Arresting a Suspect After Deploying

The Lajosmizse Civil Guard Association reported on its social media page that a police operation was underway on Bartók Béla Street in the town. TEK units arrived at the scene, and the operation concluded successfully with the suspect's capture. Authorities said they would provide further details about the operation and subsequent developments later.

An unidentified social media user claimed the suspect, identified as Gábor Suba, had threatened his family with a weapon while intoxicated and under the influence of drugs. A hostage negotiator attempted to communicate with the man, with shouting heard from both sides, and officers also deployed a robot dog to the scene. An ambulance arrived, but the suspect was apprehended within five minutes.
