Istanbul's Eyüpsultan District Left Six People Injured, With the Smaller Vehicle Dragged About 30 Meters

The injured, including the driver and five passengers, were taken to hospitals after being rescued from the wreckage. The accident occurred on the Northern Marmara Highway, in the direction of Edirne. A truck driven by A.Y. rear-ended a light commercial vehicle driven by S.B. after passing the toll booths at Odayeri.

The impact pushed the commercial vehicle approximately 30 meters before it came to a stop. The driver S.B. and five passengers, one of them a child, were injured in the crash. Firefighters, gendarmerie, and medical teams were dispatched to the scene following a report.

Firefighters extracted the trapped injured from the vehicle. After receiving medical attention at the scene, the six injured were transported by ambulance
