University of Staffordshire Is Using Hair From a 120-Year-old Museum Exhibit to Help Develop New Ways of Solving Wildlife Crime

Hayden Leigh is analysing samples from Boris the bear, a taxidermy exhibit at the Museum of Chelmsford in Essex, to improve identification of animal hairs during investigations. Boris arrived at the museum in 1932 among a large collection of taxidermy bequeathed by a local game hunter.
