Busan city announced on the 6th that it will run a special Chuseok holiday support program offering free rides on its 'Duribal' paratransit taxi service for 20 people with severe walking disabilities who have difficulty traveling to their hometowns by public transport.
The service will operate for four days, from the 24th to the 27th. Duribal is Busan's special transportation service for mobility-challenged residents, including people with severe disabilities, seniors aged 65 and older (care levels 1–3), and wheelchair users, and is equipped with wheelchair boarding facilities. Applications will be accepted from the 8th to the 17th by calling the Duribal call center (1555-1114).
