A24 Sets Oct. 2 4K Re-release of 'Moonlight' for 10Th Anniversary

Barry Jenkins' Oscar-winning drama "Moonlight" is getting a 10th anniversary re-release from A24 on Oct. 2 in a new 4K remastered cut. The director and co-writer announced the news at a special Telluride Film Festival screening of the film.

"Moonlight" follows a young African-American man navigating his identity and sexuality while growing up in Miami. The film won the Academy Award for Best Picture in 2017, a surprise victory that came after the infamous envelope mix-up at the ceremony. The re-release will give audiences a chance to see the acclaimed film on the big screen in enhanced picture quality.
