Brings Rock Cologne Cathedral at 35Th Anniversary Show

The five-piece band, led by brothers Peter and Stephan Brings, performed hits including "Su lang mer noch am Lääve sin" and "Poppe, Kaate, Danze. During "Superjeile Zick, the song that once brought them their breakthrough, the band was joined by Stefan Raab. The TV host has known Brings keyboardist Kai Engel since childhood.

Another surprise guest, Florian Silbereisen, appeared on stage for Polka, Polka, Polka. Brings originally started in 1990 as a pure rock band but soon became one of the main mood-makers in Rhenish carnival celebrations. With their rock-infused folkloric songs, the musicians are known throughout Germany.
