Israel has launched new air and artillery attacks on Lebanon after its soldiers were killed for the first time since a fragile ceasefire began in June. The strikes come despite Lebanese-Israeli talks in Rome, part of a US-brokered peace process. The escalation follows the first fatalities among Israeli troops since the truce took effect two months ago.
