Catalca, Istanbul, on Thursday, Injuring a Senior Pilot Student

The accident occurred around 5:30 p.m. in the Bahsayis neighborhood when the aircraft's tail scraped the runway, causing it to lose control and crash. The student pilot, identified only as B.B., sustained minor injuries and was taken to a hospital after initial treatment at the scene. Gendarmerie and medical teams responded to the incident, and security measures were taken.

The plane sustained damage, and efforts to remove it were ongoing. The Istanbul Governor's Office confirmed the incident and stated an investigation has been launched.
