Izzy Rowe Kicked Four Goals

Wigan Warriors opened the new Super Four format of the Women's Super League with a dominant 44-6 victory over St Helens at the BrewDog Stadium. The defending champions scored nine tries, with Ellise Derbyshire and Eva Hunter each crossing twice, while Anna Davies, Molly Jones, Remi Wilton, Jenna Foubister, and Mary Coleman added singles. Izzy Rowe kicked four goals.

St Helens' only score came from Luci McColm just before half-time. Wigan, who maintained their perfect 2026 record and a fifth straight win over Saints, raced ahead early after a spilled high kick led to Derbyshire's opening try, followed by a solo effort from Hunter. Saints lost full-back Liv Leach to injury in the first half.

Jones scored on her season debut after a knee injury, and late tries from Wilton, Foubister, and Coleman sealed the rout. The Super Four format splits the league into top and bottom sections after seven rounds, with the top four playing home-and-away fixtures over six weekends. The top team advances directly to the Grand Final, while second and third meet in a play-off. In the Shield, the bottom side faces the National Championship winners for the final 2027 Super League spot.
