Anzo and Ali Hilal Were Both Stabbed; Anzo Died at the Hospital Despite Medical Intervention, While Hilal Remains in Critical Condition

Two more suspects were detained in Istanbul's Fatih district on Thursday, raising the number of people in custody to 10 over the fatal stabbing of 19-year-old Syrian national Ali Anzo during a brawl outside a park. The fight broke out early Monday after two groups that had argued on social media agreed to meet in front of a park on Imam Hüseyin Street in the Yedikule neighborhood. Anzo and Ali Hilal were both stabbed; Anzo died at the hospital despite medical intervention, while Hilal remains in critical condition. Police had previously arrested eight suspects, and the latest detentions bring the total to 10. The suspects remain in police custody as the investigation continues.
