Mehmet Ali Yiğit, Who Had Been Missing for Four Days in the Seydikemer District of Muğla, Was Found Dead in a Greenhouse Next to His Home

Mehmet Ali Yiğit (41), who had been missing for four days in the Seydikemer district of Muğla, was found dead in a greenhouse next to his home. His relatives reported him missing to the gendarmerie last Monday after failing to reach him. Search teams, including Jandarma Arama Kurtarma (JAK), AFAD, MAG-AMESAR, the Fethiye Commando Company Command, and the Seydikemer District Gendarmerie Command, launched a large-scale search.
Initial efforts on the first day yielded no findings. On Wednesday, teams resumed searching and, following a strong odor emanating from around the house, inspected a nearby greenhouse, where they discovered Yiğit's body. A prosecutor and crime scene investigators were dispatched, and the body was taken to the Forensic Medicine Institute morgue for an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death. Authorities are investigating all aspects of the case, including the possibility that the body was placed in the greenhouse after the initial search, as it was not found during the first day's efforts.
