The Two, Who Were Already Standing Trial Without Detention, Were Released Following Their Statements at the Antalya Courthouse

Two suspects in the Antalya bribery and corruption investigation, businessman Çağrı G. and former deputy secretary-general of the municipality Serkan T., were released after giving statements to prosecutors. They had been re-detained in an operation by the Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime Branch after authorities determined they had not fully disclosed all details of the bribery scheme during their earlier testimony under leniency provisions. The two, who were already standing trial without detention, were released following their statements at the Antalya courthouse.
