Google Wallet Launches Parental Spending Controls for US Teens

The feature, announced by Google, aims to help parents teach healthy financial habits by tracking purchases and preventing overspending. Parents can view their child's account activity through transaction lists or push notifications from Family Link, and can lock the account remotely if needed. Kids don't need their own bank account to pay using their Android phone or Wear OS device wherever Google Pay is accepted. Apple already offers a similar feature called Apple Cash Family, making this a catch-up move for Google.
