Apple Pencil Pro Costs $129, $50 More Than the Usb-c Model.

The Apple Pencil Pro costs $129, $50 more than the USB-C model at $79. The Pro adds pressure sensitivity, Barrel Roll (a gyroscope-driven brush orientation feature), squeeze gestures, double-tap switching, haptic feedback, wireless charging via magnetic attachment, Find My integration, and free engraving. The USB-C model charges via a USB-C port and lacks these extras. Compatibility varies by iPad model; the Pro works only with select newer iPads, while older iPads may require even older Pencil versions.
Choose based on budget, iPad model, and usage—students may find the USB-C version sufficient, while artists may prefer the Pro's enhanced control. EU regulations could force Apple to introduce replaceable batteries in the future, but for now, these are the options.
