Lawfare Found That Articles on the Platform Have Not Been Updated Since April 24, With No Changes Detected in Any Entries for Over Three
Elon Musk's AI-powered online encyclopedia Grokipedia, touted as a "massive improvement" over Wikipedia, has not been updated for months. A detailed report by Lawfare found that articles on the platform have not been updated since April 24, with no changes detected in any entries for over three months. Grokipedia launched in October 2025 with version 0.1 and 885,000 articles, expanding to over 6 million articles with the November 2025 v0.2 release.
However, the live tracking page now shows "No live edits available" under Recent changes. Users can still submit suggestions for new topics or corrections, but Lawfare's analysis of both popular and obscure pages revealed the system is not processing them. The review identified 34,519 pages with at least one edit suggestion, totaling 225,496 proposals, yet no corrections have been accepted or rejected in the last three months, indicating the AI-driven approval and revision mechanism has completely stalled. Musk's last mention of Grokipedia on his personal X account was in February, adding to uncertainty about the project's future.
