Drivers heading toward Istanbul can use the Anadolu Motorway Doğu İzmit Junction and the North Marmara Motorway Doğu İzmit Junction. During the works, entries to the motorway toward Istanbul from the Doğu İzmit Junction, the North Marmara Motorway Doğu İzmit Junction's Istanbul-bound connector, and the Kandıra, Batı İzmit, Körfez, and Batı Hereke junctions will be closed.
