Muse Code, an Ai-powered Coding Agent Designed to Handle Complex Software Engineering Tasks Directly From a Developer's Terminal

CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced on social media that the tool can plan changes, write code, and verify results across large code repositories. Muse Code installs with a single terminal command and is powered by Meta's previously announced Muse Spark coding model. In beta, it can distribute broad tasks to independent sub-agents that work in parallel within isolated environments, leaving the developer's local copy untouched. Internal tests showed it successfully built six different features for a game project simultaneously without code conflicts.
