Bilateral Commission for Cooperation in New Delhi on July 30, Co-chaired by Janesh Kain, Joint Secretary in India's Ministry of External

The talks covered trade, economic cooperation, development partnership, skilling, capacity building, and collaboration at regional and multilateral forums. The Lesotho delegation also met Sudhakar Dalela, Secretary (Economic Relations), on July 31 and held discussions with officials from the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare and the Department of Commerce. Both sides agreed to hold the next JBCC meeting in Maseru in 2027. They advanced discussions on several proposed Memoranda of Understanding and agreed to sign them at the earliest opportunity. India reiterated its invitation to Lesotho to join the International Solar Alliance and the Coalition for Disaster Resilient Infrastructure.
