Nikita Bier Is Stepping Down As X's Head of Product After Just Over a Year, Saying He Will Become an Advisor and Demote Myself

Bier said "almost every aspect of X" was rebuilt during his tenure, including the timeline, Android app, chat, and notifications. Benji Taylor will lead design, with iOS lead Jonah Katz and Mridul Singhai leading the product team. Bier also highlighted the recently launched X Money, which Musk had once expected by end of 2024. He previously co-founded startups tbh and Gas, acquired by Meta and Discord respectively, and was appointed days before former CEO Linda Yaccarino stepped down.
