The Hotel and Culinary School Celebrated Its 30Th Anniversary on Friday With a Day of Events at Its Premises

A large crowd gathered as the school opened its doors to the public, offering mini-lectures, company presentations, short courses, an open bakery, and cooking competitions. Haraldur Jóhann Sæmundsson, the school's director, said the education it provides is more important than ever given the growth of the tourism industry. "There are all kinds of mini-presentations, company presentations, small courses, the bakery is open, cooking competitions," he said.
