Fenerbahçe will host Beşiktaş in the fourth week of the Süper Lig, and hours before the derby, the club decided to leave star player Marco Asensio out of the squad due to injury. According to TRT Spor, the Spanish player trained individually throughout the week, separated from the team, and was not included in the match squad because of his injury. After the decision was finalized, Asensio left the Samandıra Can Bartu Training Facilities in his private vehicle.

With Asensio unavailable, Fenerbahçe's starting lineup is expected to feature İrfan Can Kahveci in the number 10 position against Beşiktaş, similar to the Samsunspor match. The derby will kick off at 20:00 at Chobanı Stadium. The match is scheduled for the fourth week of the Süper Lig, with Fenerbahçe hosting Beşiktaş at their home ground.

The decision to exclude Asensio was made hours before the match, as the club confirmed his injury would prevent him from playing. The technical staff has reportedly settled on the lineup, with Kahveci set to take the attacking midfield role.
