Delhi Sees Light Rain, Temperatures Drop Across Weather Stations

Morning showers in Delhi brought the minimum temperature down to 24.8 degrees Celsius on Saturday, a dip of 3.4 degrees from the day before. According to data from IMD, Safdarjung recorded 0.7 mm of rain between 11.30 pm on Friday and 5.30 am on Saturday, and 1.3 mm in the subsequent three hours till 8.30 am. Palam recorded a minimum of 22 degrees Celsius, 3.5 degrees lower than the previous day; Lodhi Road recorded 24.7 degrees; Ayanagar recorded 24 degrees, a three-degree decrease.

Light to moderate rain, accompanied by thunderstorms, lightning and gusty winds of 30-40 kmph, is likely across Delhi, said an IMD official. The maximum temperature is expected to be around 30 degrees Celsius.
