🇺🇸 United StatesVictony Has Scored the Strongest Week of His Young Career on the Billboard U.S. Afrobeats Songs Chart, As First-week Activity From His Album

The set's single "Slick" retains its No. 2 peak for a third consecutive frame in its eighth week on the chart, according to Luminate data. "Slick" drew 900,000 official streams in the United States during the Aug. 21-27 tracking week, a 10% increase from the prior week.
The track marks Victony's third top 10 on the chart and his highest placement, following No. 5 peaks for "Soweto" with Rema and Tempoe featuring Don Toliver (May 2023) and "Pity This Boy" with ODUMODUBLVCK (February 2025). "I'm at a point in my life where my personality is really just shining through the music, Victony told Billboard U.K. "I felt it within me to show people that this is what I'm on and I feel like this body of work completely represents where I am right now. He added, "If I left out any song from this, it would feel incomplete.
With the eight debuts, Victony now has 25 career entries on U.S. Afrobeats Songs. The parent album STARLIFE debuts at No. 20 on the World Albums chart. Other debuts this week include "2FRESH (No. 26), "Who This" with BNXN (No. 29), "STARLIFE" with Blaqbonez YKB (No. 34), "Too Lit" (No. 40), "PINO" with Babyboy AV (No. 41), "Twin" with FOLA (No. 47), "Armed Dangerous" with Young Jonn (No. 48), and "FYNE" (No. 50). FRE$H, which peaked at No. 14 in June, appears at No. 21.
