Palestinian agency Quds News Network reported that soldiers distributed leaflets announcing a "large-scale operation" in the camp. A journalist covering the raid was severely beaten, and a young man was run over by an Israeli military vehicle; his condition is unknown. Footage shows soldiers confronting an unarmed Palestinian man before tackling him.

Local mosques were prevented from holding dawn prayers. Rights groups condemned the raids, with B'Tselem saying the goal is to make the territory "unliveable" for Palestinians. Al Jazeera's Nida Ibrahim reported an average of 50 raids daily across the West Bank, noting soldiers used stun grenades to disperse journalists.

Israeli forces blocked several entrances to the camp. Last week, Defence Minister Israel Katz ordered the military to seize control of another refugee camp, replicating operations in Jenin, Tulkarem, and Nur Shams. Human Rights Watch warned such actions could amount to ethnic cleansing and war crimes. Settler violence has surged since the Gaza war began, with far-right ministers Itamar Ben-Gvir and Bezalel Smotrich barred from some European countries for inciting violence.
