ZayNewsFast. Clear. Brief.
Tokat Municipality has launched a free hairdressing service for women aged 60 and over and families of martyrs as part of its social municipalism efforts. The complimentary salon, set up under the BELMEK vocational training courses, opened with a ceremony at the Underground Bazaar. Deputy Mayor Melik Bingöl, council members, BELMEK instructors, and trainees attended.
Mayor Mehmet Kemal Yazıcıoğlu said the center will operate weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., staffed by trainees who completed BELMEK's hairdressing courses, thereby also providing employment. The salon, closed on weekends, offers free services to eligible women and martyr families.
