🇹🇷 TürkiyeBIST 100 Closes Up 0.57% at 14,012 Points

The benchmark index rose 79.95 points from the previous close, with total trading volume reaching 190.1 billion Turkish liras. The banking index gained 0.77%, while the holding index rose 0.93%. Among sector indices, financial leasing and factoring posted the biggest gain at 2.91%, while information technology recorded the steepest decline at 2.08%.
Global markets are showing a mixed trend as strong US employment data has revived expectations of interest rate hikes. US non-farm payrolls increased by 162,000 in August, exceeding expectations, while the unemployment rate remained unchanged at 4.1%. Analysts noted that next week's domestic agenda will focus on the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey's (CBRT) Monetary Policy Committee interest rate decision, current account balance, and market participants survey, while abroad, US inflation and Eurozone growth data will be closely watched. Technically, analysts identified 14,100 and 14,200 points as resistance levels for the BIST 100, with 13,900 and 13,800 points serving as support.
