Briatore accused judge Filippo Marchino of bias, claiming the judge had a connection to McLaren. "We accept the verdict, we do not accept that one of the judges was not independent, and we ask ourselves why he had a relationship with McLaren, Briatore said, referencing a 2018 charity event photo in which, according to his account, the judge appeared alongside a McLaren car. "A judge should be completely independent. This judge was linked to the team that was proceeding against us, I do not think that is correct for the sport, Briatore added.

Stella responded firmly, threatening legal action: I believe that this press conference, taking this turn, is rather offensive toward McLaren.
