Norwegian Clubs Learn European Cup Opponents

Vålerenga will face Feyenoord, Rosenborg will meet Slovan Liberec, and Brann will take on Finnish side HJK. Brann had been fighting for a place in the Champions League but were eliminated after a 0-4 loss to Austria Wien. The Bergen club had taken a 2-1 lead from the home leg, but several errors ended their Champions League dream.

Vålerenga advanced to the second qualifying round by beating Slovenia's Radomlje 9-1 on aggregate. Rosenborg won their previous qualifying matches 3-0 on aggregate against Ukraine's Seasters. The European competition has no group stage.

The winners of the upcoming qualifying round go straight into the quarter-finals of the tournament. The matches are the next phase of the European cup for Brann, Rosenborg and Vålerenga.
