🇹🇷 TürkiyeTurkey's Seasonally Adjusted Consumer Price Index Rose

The institute published its seasonally adjusted special aggregate CPI indicators for August, with the general CPI among the sub-headings increasing 2.29% on a monthly basis. Excluding unprocessed food products, energy, alcoholic beverages and tobacco, and gold, the CPI rose 2% last month. The index also rose 2% when excluding energy, food and non-alcoholic beverages, alcoholic beverages and tobacco products, and gold.
Among the components, the index increased 1.29% for goods excluding energy and food, 5.46% for energy, 1.48% for food and non-alcoholic beverages, and 2.91% for services. The data comes as economists have set their expectations for the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey's (CBRT) interest rate decisions.
