Turkish Soldiers Build Playground for Kosovo Children

The playground was installed at Emin Duraku Primary School in the city of Prizren, Kosovo, under the auspices of the Kosovo Turkish Representative Office. The opening ceremony was attended by Turkey's Consul General in Prizren, Fatih Topçu; Kosovo Turkish Representative Office Head, Infantry Colonel Harun Elitaş; Prizren Deputy Mayor Furkan Bütüç; Emin Duraku Primary School Principal Rrahim Bektashi; as well as teachers, students, and parents. In his speech, Consul General Topçu expressed satisfaction with the projects carried out by Turkish soldiers in various fields, noting that they are in the friendly and brotherly country of Kosovo to contribute to peace and stability.

He emphasized that Turkey will continue similar projects with all its institutions operating in Kosovo. Colonel Elitaş stated that investment in children is the most valuable investment in the country's future, saying, This modern playground, which we are inaugurating today, is a concrete testament to the love of the Turkish soldier (Mehmetçik) for their Kosovar brothers and sisters, for our children here, and to the endless support of the Turkish nation. Bütüç and Bektashi also thanked the Turkish soldiers for their support.
